The seven major groups that attended the event are Buddhism, Protestantism, Catholicism, Won Buddhism, Confucianism, Cheondogyo, and national religion.
Religious leaders said, "We need to strictly deal with behaviors that cause great damage to the lives of citizens beyond Orthodox collusion to restore the relationship that religion brings happiness to the people again," adding, "The people will agree to dissolve religious organizations that harm the nation and the people. Please consider ways to relieve the victims of pseudo-religion with the assets of the religious foundation in question."
In response, President Lee responded by saying, "It's a really difficult topic, but the harm to our society has been neglected for too long, so the harm is very great."
