Hive Communities, Art Lovers and Blockchain Enthusiasts,
I recently started a community on hive together with ,
,
,
and
with much help from
, who I encounter so positively everywhere I move in the #hiveverse. Very helpful.
The community is about painting rocks and leaving them somewhere, selling them, making redeemable NFT's or anything you can think of. To make it a mindful undertaking, retrievers of such rocks are encouraged to share their posting rewards with the artist who labels a rock with their hive account name.
If you would like to subscribe and follow, it's Hive Rocks or .
The above Rock was my first one and I did not label it. I left it at the location of Latitudes and Longitudes described in the table above as a treasure hunt. Planing on making a series of such monkeys.
Firstly, I was walking to search for rocks and picked up three:
Checking the shape of each rock I pick, I assessed them on how one could place them, keeping in mind that anyone might be decorating their home with them. The top left had a nice flat surface which reminded of a tablet. The right reminded me of an animal. Guess which one? I also thought if I'd be putting them amongst other rocks, that they should at least look odd or stand out. Imagine a really nicely painted rock that could turn out to be quite the treasure hunt for some people.
I decided to paint the bottom one:
Looking forward to sharing more rocks and a growing hive rocks community.
Thank you for reading.
