El camino era largo y por empinadas cuestas, por el monte para alcanzar un río muy poco visitado. Esporádicamente se veían las marcas frescas en la corteza de los árboles de venados y jutías, los cuales con su olfato fino descubrieron la presencia humana y se perdieron de nuestra vista.

Se avecinaba una tormenta y algunos empezamos a temer que nos cogiera el agua en las lomas por aquellos senderos. Afortunadamente no llovió y llegamos a tiempo al campamento para tomar un baño en las duchas y degustar el almuerzo. Los niños son incansables seguían con deseos de jugar y preguntar, muchas más cosas. La excursión fue maravillosa, el aire puro llenó nuestros pulmones y la naturaleza virgen nos regaló su mejor vestido. Ojalá regresar en otra ocasión para contarles a ustedes mis amigos de Hive.
A storm was approaching and some of us began to fear that we would be caught in the water on the hills on those trails. Fortunately it didn't rain and we made it back to camp in time to take a bath in the showers and enjoy lunch. The children are tireless and were still eager to play and ask many more questions.
