I saw this picture today and it hit me hard.
On the left, one man is shaking a mango tree with green mangoes. He is forcing it. He is in a hurry.........And what is happening? The green mangoes are falling, scattering on the ground, wasting. He has plenty mango on ground but none is useful. None is sweet.
On the right, another man is standing calmly with a basket. His mango tree is full of ripe, yellow and red mangoes. He is not shaking. He is just plucking gently, one by one. His basket is full of good harvest.
Same mango tree. Same effort. Different timing.
This is exactly how life is.
Many of us are like the man on the left. We are shaking our life when it is still green. We want quick money, quick success, quick marriage, quick fame. We see our mates making it and we start shaking our own tree by force. We enter wrong business, we borrow money we cannot pay, we rush into relationship that will waste us, we do Yahoo, we do hookup.
And at the end? We destroy our own harvest. We get green mango that no one wants to buy.
But the man on the right teaches us patience. He waited. He watered his tree. He allowed the season to do its work. And when the season came, his harvest was sweet and plenty.
I have learned this in my own life. The time I was rushing to make money online, I lost money. The time I waited, learned skill, and allowed my season to come, I started earning.
Don't compare your Chapter 2 with someone's Chapter 10.
Your mango will ripe. Your business will grow. Your marriage will come. Your Blurt account will grow. But don't shake it when it is still green.
Wait for your season. Water your tree daily with hard work, prayer, and consistency. When your season comes, you will not need to shake — the ripe mangoes will fall into your basket by themselves.
Patience is not laziness. Patience is wisdom.
