"Sing Under the Green"

n the past, when we went out into the nature on excursions, we would not only play as we wished, but also gather together and sing songs. I remember how good it felt to sing under the blue sky. I also have a distant memory of going out to the park to see the cherry blossoms and seeing groups of people singing in chorus, some of them dancing as they sang. Now, due to the corona disaster, schools and other places seem to be refraining from chorus singing. Well, it is difficult, isn't it? This picture shows the beauty of the echoing sound of the chorus.

これは私が創った作品です。
「緑の下で歌えば」
木製パネルにアクリル、45.5x53cm、2022
昔は遠足などで自然の中に出かけたら、思い思いに遊ぶほかに、みんなで集まって歌を歌ったりしました。青空の下で歌うと、とても気持ち良かったのを覚えています。また、いつだったか公園に花見に出かけると、あちこちのグループが合唱をしていて、中には踊りながら歌っている人もいたのも遠い記憶の中にあります。今は、コロナ禍で学校とかでも合唱は控えているようです。まあ、難しいですよね。この絵は合唱の響き渡る音色の美しさを形にしたものです。
