"Ore"

Recently, I have been having a hard time painting small works of art, around 10 to 20 cm on a side, but I think I did a good job with this one. I think I was able to express the patterns of the stones and the components of the glowing minerals well. I'm also happy that I've been able to draw pictures with more austere colors lately. I guess it's a change of heart (though I still prefer vivid pictures).

「鉱石」
ミクストメディア、14x18cm、2021
最近、1辺が10cmから20cm前後の小さい作品を描くのに苦労していましたが、これは良い絵が描けたと思っています。石の模様、そして光る鉱物の成分がよく表現できたと思います。最近は渋い色彩の絵も描けるようになってきたのも嬉しいです。心境の変化でしょうか(でもやっぱり鮮やかな絵が好きですが)。
