Hello friends!

The life on this planet is very interesting and intriguing to me. It was more interesting in my younger days than it's now. In those days, I was very curious about all weird and abnormal things I used to hear. I tried to find out about many things and it was all fun. But after learning about so many miracles, I lost the count of them. And then came the time when miracles stopped surprising me, they didn't enthuse my curiosity any more.

Perhaps, I was getting matured! I realized that something appeared to be a miracle until we know all about it. Although I still listen about the weird happenings with some interest but ain't very keen to verify them.

Reincarnation of an ancient Rishi

Some years back, a friend had told me about an illiterate temple priest living in a small village in Uttar Pradesh. But when alone, he used to speak about some scriptures in Sanskrit. My friend had listened to it when he was a child playing around his ashram. But couldn't understand a word of it. later people noticed that he was speaking some dialogues that happened between a very well known Rishi in Vedic times. These conversations did have some reference in scriptures but were never recorded in such detail.

So when y friend asked me if I'd like to meet that person, I nodded yes and said that we can make an audio recording of whatever he speaks. But he found out that he died a little while back. Still he gave me a call from a nearby village to reach there so that we can go together to his ashram from there. But by then, I didn't have much interest to visit that place and I refused. There was a page dedicated to this person on Wikipedia earlier but later it was taken down perhaps due to unavailability of any supporting evidence.

Men feeding on corpse to attain miraculous powers

Over a decade back, one of my friends was working as an Assistant Director of a popular TV program that used to cover such strange stories. After some time he left that show to start his own journey as a Director. He made a documentary about aghori saints in which he captured an aghori eating on a dead body. This was the first time an aghori's act of eating a corpse was captured on camera. My friend sat on the banks of Ganges for 3 days & night to wait for a floating corpse on which that aghori will feast. Finally, he was successful to capture it. His documentary viz. "Feeding on the Dead" was nominated for The Singapore Film Festival. He was very happy for it. Several times, he told me to watch his documentary. Once he also said that he will courier a CD to me for that. But I never showed much interest in it. I just appreciated his work and wished him good for future. But dunno why I wasn't keen on watching such a weird act. To this day, I haven't watched it. Actually, that aghori had set two pre-conditions to shoot him. One of which was not to air this film in India. So why should I watch it in India!

Who can stop his heart-beat at will?

Yesterday, another friend asked me if I know of any person who can voluntarily stop his heartbeats. He told me that this was one of the reasons for his being in India. I counter-questioned him, "why he is looking for such a person?" "It's not a big deal to stop heartbeats voluntarily", I added. He was taken aback with my reply and asked me if I can do that. I told him that I can't do it as I ain't interested in attaining that feat. But he can accomplish that if he was seriously interested.

Now this is what I came to know of miracles. Everything can be done if you are prepared to put sufficient efforts on that path. Miracles are just a result of following some set processes and rules and regularly practising on that path to finally achieve what you're seeking. Everything has some standard process. But yes, for becoming a maestro, you need to posses the required talent too.

Not everyone could attain the feat of surviving merley on Sunlight and without any food like Hira Ratan Manek but many claim to have achieved substantial reduction in their intake by following his guidance.

Although all these may not fall into the definition of miracles according to you but they were quite strange, weird, rare and miraculous to me at some point.
