Tournament Battle Challenge Blog
Novice Tournament
This battle showcase is from the tournament of Summoners Novice begginer Training. Since there are many skilled players participating in the novice tournament, I decided to enter it in order to practice my league of level 1 cards approach. I'm using this league to hone my abilities. I'm looking forward to picking up some strategy from the novice, bronze, and silver leagues. These leagues play a good and crucial function in helping players learn and experience various game play styles.
It's also advantageous if I can play with a wide selection of cards under various rules. Some cards are too expensive for me to rent, and while some powerful summoners are also playable, not all of them can be since the rental fees would be too high. Despite my efforts, I don't want to spend a lot of Dark Energy Crystals on rent in the novice league since I want to concentrate my efforts on the silver to the gold league. I only rent at reasonable rates.
Battle Rule Sets
Toxic fumes is one of the key goals of this battle mage secrets mission, hence the applicable criteria are Keep your distance, Poison, and Rage Ability. The rule that worries me the most is the poison from noxious gases, which damages at the end of each round by 2. The only abilities that can aid here against poison are cleanse and immunity. However, certain cards have cleanse as they level up, unlike the low level cards I play, and I don't have many other than the River Nymph above. These powers are difficult to obtain. Llama from Untamed card had that cleanse ability a summoner that only have cleanse against all the summoner in splinterlands. The only element that is cannot be used is life.
Kelya Frendul Versus Tarsa
Early Match up
Even though I had the goal of relinquishing my front card tanker for martyrdom, I used Venari Marksrat early in the battle to trigger the martyr ability as soon as possible. I also had river nymhp to give cleanse for the first position so it could prevent instant death from the poison. My main damager in this combo is Nerissa Tridawn, who has 3 magic damage and 9 life, making her the major damager in this league. I also use the taunt monster Wave Brood. Fortunately, despite the crushing onslaught of my army and my foe's full attack, every creature on the field is still alive. I did not anticipate that the Venari Marksrat that I placed in the front would still be alive and that my opponent's Lava Launcher would not be deadly enough to destroy my sacrifice tank.
Mid-Game Encounter
Since my Venari Marksrat is capable of working rounds 1 and 2 and did not accomplish its purpose to buff nerisa tridawn, the combination and damage from my team still strong that my opponent gradually decline on troops, I have this taunting monster that provide a good protection against distant attackers, as well as a swap spitter to repair for damage armor. The poison was quite dangerous, but I still had enough health points to fight for a few more rounds.
End Game
As the combat moved into round three, at least my Venari Marksrat was killed on the battlefield, giving Nerissa Tridawn his sacrifice points damage and health. I feared at that point that I could lose the capacity to defeat Ash Mirage while my opponent was able to maximize all of its martyr abilities, but the speed was full of aggression and I still had the last launch strike that killed Ash Mirage till it died. For me, the task of Noxious Fumes appears to be challenging but in today's experiment, I was able to overcome my nervousness and prevail. Good Game to my competitor.
