Here's the latest concept piece for my Basalt Keep Adventure. There are several factions that exist on the island and one of them is the hybrid beast-men creatures. Here's the concept art for an encounter with one such creature, an ursupine - a bear/porcupine hybrid. I had a lot of fun with this one and I'm looking forward to getting to work actually writing the adventure up. First, I have to finalize the maps which are really close. In the end, I am thinking of making this freely available as an adventure using the Swords and Wizardry Table Top RPG game (think original edition Dungeons and Dragons) but playable with most D&D or olds school gaming systems.
