Here's my latest #monomad challenge entry.

One of Wellington's most iconic landmarks, the City to Sea Bridge has long been a favourite spot for me and the family. Situated as a footpath from civic square to the harbour waterfront, it is a bustling, active piece of architectural art. When it was announced that it was going to be demolished because it was earthquake prone, there was a public outcry. Demolition was scheduled to begin this month, but it has beeen halted and now it looks like there is a pretty decent chance it will be earthquake strengthened instead of demolished. I am thrilled to hear that! I have many fond memories of watching stingrays in the lagoon while eating gellato with my family. I hope it stays a vital part of the Wellington city landscape and a jewel in the revitalization of the civic square. Plus it just makes for some really great photos. Cheers!
