It looks like we might have an early spring this year. The days are getting warmer — around 15–20°C most of the time. Sometimes it’s cooler and rainy, but overall it’s been quite warm.
Do you know which tree blossoms first in your area? Here, almond trees bloom first. While other trees are just getting ready, the almond trees are already covered in blossoms and even green leaves. Our almond tree is still young, but in two years it seems like we won’t have any shortage of almonds here 😄
I still remember last year when it snowed after the apricot trees had already blossomed. That year we didn’t have any apricots at all, and the price became four times higher. Usually, apricots are almost free here — some varieties are even used just for their kernels.
