Good afternoon, everyone...

Yesterday I had what you might call a "flashback". Since I returned from my weekend runaway to Porto, to be with some friends, I started to feel fatigue, and with intense muscular soreness.

I thought that a good relaxing shower and a good night sleep could solve it... but unfortunately, it didn't.

In fact, the muscular soreness got together with some low intensity fever and mind fogness... Since I've worked in the morning shift on Monday, I still thought that if I took some anti piretic and relax a little bit in a dark room, could help it...

But once again, even the good names couldn't helped... and I had to cancel out my presence in a very important dinner.

No, it was not a dinner with a girl, or even a business mam... but a good by dinner for two good friends that are moving out of Lisbon.

Since I didn't went for the dinner with them, I've decided to go to bed a little earlier that night.

On Tuesday morning, adding to the muscular soreness, fatigue, headache, and low intensity fever, the soar throat appeared! OMG!

Random thoughts about times that I thought that were buried appeared ahead of me!

Went to work... dragged my self around the entire shift, counting the hours to leave...

When I got home, and since I was almost sure that I would have to fail the birthday celebration of a friend, I just passed by the Pharmacy and bought a auto Covid test. And surprisingly I tested negative...

Well, the thing is, no matter what the result came out, the decision of maintaining physically appart to protect others, was paramount.

On the other hand, having this f***** virus to mess with me, made the stay more focused in what really matters, even that the good things that I had planned for Monday and Tuesday were screwed!

Well, I don't know if this is A flu, or another stupid virus, but the results on the gym that I have been recording daily for the last 3 months are about to be gone by a fifth for sure. Bummer!

Thank you for reading this piece of writen rant for a old baldy guy!

Stay safe!
