Good morning, friends!

Today I started the day well energised. It must have been because I slept for more than 8 hours... It seems that yesterday's Shakra alignment session (MRI) ahahah did me good!

Today, as I had the delivery of a new TV box (Android Box) scheduled for the morning, I decided not to go to the gym and to take the opportunity to do some of the housework that was overdue.
Tomorrow, I'm taking the train to Porto to visit my goddaughter, and I'm taking advantage of the long weekend to spend time with a group of friends and miss them. One of those friends is my goddaughter's father. That's exactly who I was with on this little foray we made the last time we were together.

Although he's much younger than me, age doesn't count for much when it comes to friendships, does it?

After Rui's last visit to Lisbon, which was forced... due to the funeral of a friend of his (who lived near Lisbon), we decided that afternoon to go for a drive along the coast and through the Saloia region. We headed towards Magoito, but as the weather was very good that day, we couldn't even find a place to park on Magoito beach. Crossing the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, we then took the back roads that led us to the famous Cabo da Roca... Europe's most westerly point. A fantastic view, with cliffs that seem to have been designed by Mother Nature with unrivalled wisdom...

Believe me, being so close to the sea gives you a sense of connection with your surroundings... You feel small, but at the same time connected to everything outside of you.

The sea breeze gently rushes across your face, bringing the freshness of a breeze warmed by the currents of hot air exhaled from the rocks heated by the graceful sun.

After a few minutes of reflection and silence in this place, we went to a nearby café, which also gave us a breathtaking view... In fact, for me, few things can beat nature in its grandeur or magnificence, don't you think?

At the end of the afternoon, on our way back for a three-course dinner with my friend the @pardinus, we ended up driving along the coastline of Cascais Bay... always in the car, because that weekend, as I told you, it was fantastic weather, which meant that the streets were full of locals and visitors taking advantage of every moment to synthesize that precious Vitamin D!
