Nowadays the temperature is around 23 °C, but it feels like 30 °C. I am relaxing in the shadows. The 23 °C on Tenerife (at least in the semi-desert, near San Isidro) is different than the 23 °C in Hungary.
People say that this temperature is a foretaste of summer. They say that the summer daylight temperatures will be much warmer (hotter) (around 30 °C).
Sometimes there is wind. When the wind is blowing, then the temperature feels less hot. But otherwise it feels hot.
My Hungarian engineer friend says that an average summer day on Tenerife is equal to the hottest summer day in Hungary.
I have to get used to this. And to the rocky, steep landscape in this area. My steps are still very careful and uncertain, but maybe a little bit more confident than the first day.
Of course there are clouds too. And when they cover the sun, then the temperature feels less warm/hot. But the rain is rare on Tenerife.
