Yesterday I visited Őrbottyán (Pest county, Hungary). My falconer friends strongly disagree with moving there, because the authorities are very strict there. Much more strict than in the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county. And this is logical. This county is close to the capital (Budapest).
Őrbottyán is a calm and quiet place. There is a playground next to the train station. The stores are also nearby.
The rent is also close. Approximately 5-10 minutes walk from the train station. In addition to the caravan (trailer/camper), there is a house too. It has everything I would need, including an electric heater. The plot is also big enough (around 100 meters long). The owner is not living there. He would come there once a month.
The rent would be perfect, but I do not want to risk my Harris's hawk, nor a possible punishment from the authorities. I do not want to get in trouble with the authorities.
So I am still thinking about what to do, and I am still trying to find a local solution, within the boundaries of the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county.
We (my Harris's hawk and me) are still in the old rent. Currently I am nervous. And my Harris's hawk too. Visibly.
