Last June I've got from Ali plastic running shoes. I ordered it cause an frequent combining jogging with midway swimming, so trainers have to be quick drying, and no mess with laces/socks. The pair I got for $18 was disturbingly basic - just plastic all over - but evolved to be my favorite except barefoot. And they overlived most my ordinary running apparel. Today their score is 1000 km! And hope soles on heels will endure another couple of hundreds.
