Now that we know Patsy lived in Crockett California as a child, it's fun to track down all the places she visited back in the 1930s-40s and see how they look nowadays. Fun for me, at least. Your mileage may vary. :-)

As I'm sure you recall, this old b&w picture (below) was labeled "Patsy in front of library Aug. 3, 1938". However, we never actually get to see the library. That's actually the train station across the street (on the left) and the C&H Sugar factory in the distance. They're both still there, except the train station is now the "Crockett Historical Museum". Appropriately enough. :-)

The library across the street is still there, too. And it looks fairly original as well (albeit tiny).
