Now, we're past the burnt areas, still on our way up to Idyllwild in December 2006. They're at 5400 feet, so they do occasionally get this cold, white stuff. Pretty to look at for very short visits, but I'd never want to live in it and have to deal with it. Been there, done that. Never again, if I can help it. :-)
