I got attracted here by claims that @threespeak was creating a video platform to take on the censoring by mainstream heavyweights. Upon research, I realize it's a pipe dream or barely an idea. The whitepaper isn't even ready as promised: Q1 2021. Their current platform is more of a WIP and very limited in functionality, content and activity.

I am not a text blogger. I prefer video. So it's not "whining" it's just pointing out how little tools there are here for content creators. I don't mind text blogging it provides valuable information. I prefer to consume it rather then be part of that 'worker bee' group though.

If this place is always going to be "if it's missing it's your duty to build it" then that's a very limited type of user that's ever going to get interested in it.

The overall point I want you to see is that there's a duality here. On the surface: claims that this is web3.0 and it's so much more awesome than current platforms. Once in the door though.. it's a baron land and apparently i have to become a builder ... so what exactly is so good about web 3.0? web2.0 is on video as the dominant medium and here it's simple text blogging which is the standard? what....?

So how on Earth will users from mainstream leave their complete systems and then come here to become builders of what is already available on the main platforms. That's just illogical. Token rewards only appeal to a few.

Plus there's hidden costs here. I can't post more than 2 comments every few days then I'm bombarded with pop ups telling me to 'POWER UP' (PAY MONEY) if I want to be able to speak freely. ... again... why would users switch to this when on mainstream a person can post until the sun burns out without paying anything.

Anyway low RC after this likely and I'm not about to pay for that.
