- In the second lap we made three chains and a high point in the same point of the chain that represents an increase, in the following point two high points (1 increase) and in the following point a high point, we repeat: two increases and a high point until finishing the lap.

Now in red color, we make the hen's crest knitting 3 chains and two high stitches in the same stitch joining the two covers, in the next stitch we make a low stitch, in the next stitch we make three high stitches in the same stitch and in the next stitch we make a low stitch. We repeat the same procedure until we finish.
Then we make the peak in orange: we start with two chains and half a high point, we make 4 chains in the next stitch we make a sliding stitch and close.
For the chin: in red color we make 3 chains and a sliding stitch and close. Up to here we join the two pieces, the rest is the two loose pieces.
To finish off we make the border, we start from the chin taking a loop we weave a chain and we make a low stitch starting with the border we weave five high stitches in the same stitch, we skip two stitches and we make a low stitch and again we make five high stitches in the same stitch we skip two stitches and we weave half a low stitch until we finish the whole border.
