The town of Dryanovo is an exceptional tourist destination located in the heart of Stara Planina. The historical appearance of the town is almost completely preserved. Everywhere is filled with houses-museums and monuments of famous revivalists.

We started our tour of the church "St. Nicholas" built by Kolyo Ficheto in the distant 1851.

The building is built entirely of stone. The church has three naves, with a semicircular apse and narthex.

The atmosphere in the large Revival church is difficult to describe in words. The windows are small with decorative grilles and brick arches.

Directly opposite the church is the old cell school. Built together with the church, two-storey and extremely beautiful. Currently in one of the rooms there is a restoration of a typical classroom from that time.

The original clock tower in Dryanovo was built in 1778, which makes Dryanovo one of the first Bulgarian cities to have one. The clock mechanism is powered by five tons.

The building of the historical museum in Dryanovo. The museum is dedicated entirely to the work of Kolyo Ficheto and was opened in 1970.

This is the building of the Dryanovo cinema. Extremely beautiful, a masterpiece of post-liberation architecture.

Monuments of significant Bulgarian Revivalists are scattered throughout the city.

The Rocket Fountain in Dryanovo was built in honor of Yuri Gagarin, the astronaut who became the first man to fly into space.

Walking down the street were more beautiful houses in the typical style of this part of Bulgaria.

Our trip to Dryanovo ended where it started, at Dryanovo railway station. Although small, the building is not inferior in style and charm to any of the houses in the city.
