Kaduna State is always referred to with the State attached because its Capital too bears the same name, Kaduna. It is located in the North Western Region of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and is littered with lot of hills and mountains.
It has a vegetation cover of Sudan Savannah type that is characterized by short trees, shrubs and grasses scattered all over the State as its rich soil is mostly loamy than the sandy type. This is the reason the food and crop produce are in large quantities there with the likes of rice, maize, beans, onion and lots more.
You can also find a substantial amount of clay and these are used in producing lots of clay arts, statues and decorations. It is there you will also see the Nigerian Army Division 1 Head Quarters as it has lots of other military locations. The popular and premier Military University, Nigerian Defense Academy is also found there.
The state has very friendly and homely people with a lot of clubs, bars, hotels, and other beautiful places including the stadium which is currently under renovation to match a world class type. Sometime in 2017, the Abuja International Airport was under construction so Kaduna which is closest to Abuja had its Local Airport decorated as International and after the Abuja Airport was finished, Kaduna Airport still remains as International as it has a lot of International Airlines.
