You slowly reach for the loose rope by your head, and wrap your hand around it. You stay as still as possible, waiting for the man to reach you. It's difficult, with blood still pouring into your throat.
The man reaches you, crouches beside you and picks up a long, sharp blade from the ground. As he does this, you take your chance to sit bolt upright and wrap the rope around his neck.
You must have underestimated how little strength you had, because the man flings you off him with a shrug of his shoulders.
He looks confused and hurt, almost as though he did not know why you would wish him harm - and you see that the knife had been poised by the rope around your waist, ready to cut you loose.
You try to sit up again - this time to simply stop the blood running down your throat - but the man takes it as an aggressive movement, and in one swift motion he swipes his blade across your throat.
Game over.
I'm kinda disappointed in you all. This was the first episode where death was possible. You had a 66.666% chance of survival. And you voted for the wrong option!
