সুখের খোঁজেই ছুটছে মানুষ
পথের ক্লান্তি অন্তহীন।
সুখপাখিটার স্বরূপ চেনা
হয়নি কারও কোনোদিন।

কাঁদছে বধূ জুলেখা।
বিশটি বছর কেটে গেল
ছেলেপুলের নেই দেখা।
রিকশা চালায় মধু ঢালী
সংসারে তিন প্রিয় মুখ।
অন্ন পেলেই ধন্য তারা
বেঁচে থাকাই তাদের সুখ।

চাকরিটা তার হয়নি আজও
গৃহে অভাব নিত্যদিন।
