Although the price of bitcoin depends upon the demand and supply. Currently trading at around 1700 $. Bitcoin will surely have a price drop sooner or later as there will always be a time when the demand is very less compared to the supply. It has happened few times in the past. The bitcoin has always helped traders at the past. Where they have been successful in purchasing it when the price is less and selling it when the price is high. Thanks to it's price volatility.
This picture shows the all time price of bitcoin. For traders, the best time to purchase this crypto-currency is when the market price is low(Marked in Red) and the best time to sell would be when the price is high (Marked in Blue).
So never believe that the price would stay high all the time. It will surely go down some time or later.
