Hey, hey! This is @gabrielatravels, and I am pleased to bring you a brand new edition of #TravelDigest! ❤️ Today's post is going to take you on a virtual tour with stops at a castle in Portugal, a hike in Vietnam, and a walk in Turkey. We also have the honourable mentions list, where you can get a few more travel postcards from Venezuela, Cebu, Vietnam, Turkey, Sweden, and Venezuela, so don't forget to check these posts too! 😊
The trail ran entirely along the coast, a beautiful seaside promenade. The day was a little cloudy; maybe it would have been better if it had been clear, but I still enjoyed it a lot. Plus, it worked out well for me because it was very hot, and if the sun had been beating down, I might not have been able to handle the hike.

Even closed, the castle is very beautiful. Not because of its size, but because of the way it occupies the top of the hill and controls everything around it. The granite walls seem to emerge directly from the rock, worn by time, but still solid. There are more destroyed parts, others surprisingly well preserved. The whole thing doesn't seem artificially restored, and that pleases me. It still conveys a sense of true ruin.

I wandered around Maçka Park. The air of the park is very different early in the morning. The trees were swaying silently. The sounds of birds were coming. It always seems very interesting to me that there are such quiet places in the middle of Istanbul. Huge city on one side, peaceful streets and parks on the other.
