Hello everyone! This is Hive account@ybanezkim26 and I'll present today's edition of Travel Digest. In our featured posts, we have a chapel in Marialva, Portugal, a church in Kuretno, Slovenia, and a sunken garden in Mt. Gambier, Australia. Enjoy and keep on pinning your travel posts to the map!
The afternoon light was hitting it from the side, making it more difficult to take photos. The stone of the chapel isn't uniform. There are marks, small flaws, more worn areas. Nothing has been hidden.
Hello everyone. In the previous post, I wrote about visiting the Šmichel Church in Slovenia. Then we met a lady who told us that nearby there is another cultural and historical landmark even older than this church and that we can reach it on foot through beautiful natural landscapes. It was the Church of St. Catherine.
A good walk around Mount Gambier before dawn provided a mix of nature and architectural views. The town in the South of Australia is important for its limestone and sinkholes. We walked around the sinkhole garden, often called the “Sunken Garden”. It was a nice stroll around the sunken garden. Mt Gambier is located around 450km from the main city, Adelaide, in South Australia.
