Arches National Park can feel overwhelming at firstācrowded entrances, long lines of cars, and packed parking lots. For our recent trip, we decided to do things differently. Instead of joining the line at the main entrance, we rented a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4WD and entered the park through the Willow Springs Trail, a lesserāknown backcountry route. It ended up being one of the highlights of the entire tripāespecially for our kids.

Normally, I don't go on hikes in November either, but as I miss exploring the outdoors, I was determined to head to Mount Bismo in Dieng, Wonosobo. Last week, a friend and I set off from Pekalongan on a motorcycle. The distance we had to travel was about 90 km or three hours of estimated travel. Because the journey we were about to take was relatively long and the terrain was not easy, my friend and I decided to leave early in the morning. At around 5:30am, we departed from Kajen sub-district. The road was still deserted at that time, so it was easy for us to speed up to get there quickly.

Of all the Hawaiian islands, where tourism is allowed, I have been to the island of Kauai the least. Now I find myself sent her for research and development, a bit of scouting, for a new addition to our Hawaii UnCruise expedition offering. We are looking into the possibility of adding a four night land package that guests could sign up for, before joining the expedition ship. So I didn't waste any time in getting a private local driver to guide us all over the islands hot spots, and lesser known spots as well.
