On one side, you have views across the zig-zagging road, swooping valleys and cloud-piercing peaks and on the other, date wadis, villages and the Arabian Gulf.

@tesmoforiaA few days ago, I went to the city center to complete some important paperwork. On the way, I passed “La Basílica de Chiquinquira”, which made me wonder, "What is the difference between a church, a cathedral, and a basilica? What does it mean for a building to be called a basilica in the first place?" This beautiful building is famous for housing a sacred relic, a small wooden tablet on which an image of the Virgin Mary appeared in 1709.

@rosana6I traveled there from the state of Barinas, where my maternal family is from. It was very special for me to spend time with my family, especially my nephew, whom I have always been very close to, even though he lives in the plains region while I live in the center of the country. So, this trip was very enjoyable for me because I was able to spend a lot of time with him, my siblings and my mother.
