Hive account@mayramaluMy husband and I went for a walk through the oldest part of Havana. Our steps led us to a historic plaza created in 1559 as New Square, one of the city's first plazas. Many years have passed, and it's now called Old Square (Plaza Vieja); however, with the care and attention given to it by the City Historian's Office, it becomes more beautiful every day.

Today we're going to hike a really beautiful trail, which in my personal opinion is among the top 5 most important in the protected Sintra-Cascais mountain range. It's a combination of natural resources and stunning landscapes. Anyone who lives in Portugal knows how difficult it is to spot a deer, and seeing four individuals of the species (Capreolus capreolus) left me amazed.
