Buenos Aires has thousands of beautiful things and places to explore, and one of them is the famous bookstore El Ateneo, which I quite literally stumbled upon by accident. I knew it existed, but it wasn’t part of my plan for the day, and I hadn’t even thought about visiting it since I didn’t have much time left in Buenos Aires. After two weeks full of events, activities, and socializing day and night, all I wanted was to rest… but the universe had other plans.

El Retiro Park is one of the city's largest green spaces. It is a place that invites you to stroll and almost meditate. Autumn is usually one of the times of year when the light, together with the yellows, oranges, and reds, makes a visit to this park with its centuries-old trees something very special.
Around 6:00 p.m., the colors begin to change. Day gives way to night, and the sky takes on an orange hue. Little by little, the colors change, and so do our emotions. The atmosphere calls for introspection.
With the arrival of night, the Christmas lights become noticeable. Pink, violet, and yellow colors flood the landscape, creating an almost magical atmosphere.
As we leave the park, the Christmas decorations take center stage, as they deserve.

This was my first time in Lanzarote, and I decided to take this trip completely on my own. The island surprised me from the first moment — the landscapes look like Mars, with black lava fields, red hills and places where you feel like you’re walking on another planet. It was the perfect place to disconnect, explore at my own pace and enjoy the silence.
