🥇 Visiting The Batu Caves - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia by
@louis88When we arrived at the large square in front of the caves, we got off the bus and walked straight toward the entrance. But of course, before going in, we had to take some photos from the outside – because you simply cannot ignore the stunning view. The 272 colorful steps leading up to the cave entrance, combined with the golden statue in the background, make it one of the most unique photo spots in Kuala Lumpur.

🥈 Exploring Citadel of Qaitbay in Alexandria by
@elevator09While I was in Cairo, it was clear to me that I would make a day trip to the historic city of Alexandria, which has a very special meaning when it comes to antiquity and was founded by the well-known ruler Alexander the Great. For many, the city is probably known as an important center of science where well-known wonders of the world are located and here is also the well-known library of Alexandria, which is also considered the largest and sometimes the most mysterious in the world. From Cairo it's about 230 kilometers which is why my trip started early in the morning and first I drove to the train station because I wanted to get to know different facets of the country as authentically as possible, including public transport, but this turned out to be more complicated than expected. At the beginning I wanted to buy a ticket online which is usually possible but only for people with an Egyptian passport which is why I wanted to buy the ticket on site but they have two different ticket counters at the main station in Cairo with different prices and people from other countries pay significantly more which is why I went looking for the ticket machine.

🥉 Lost in Lindau: The Island That Feels Like a Fairytale! by
@ceszianneThat dream finally came true, dear Hivers! I made it! My first country is Germany. I’m here because of my boyfriend who lives here, and I’m so glad he let me visit his place. He lives in Lindau, Germany , near the beautiful Lake Constance and close to the borders of Austria and Switzerland.
Their place is really lovely! I love the balcony because it overlooks the lake and even two countries. One day, his mother invited me to go to Insel (which means “island”). They wanted to tour me around since my boyfriend was at work at that time. His mother, together with Auntie Sylvia and Auntie Petra — her close friends invited me to join them.
