馃 脫bidos Historic Village - Drone View | Portugal by aleister@aleister

Today we are going to take a tour of 脫bidos, this Portuguese village full of history and symbolism, located in the western region of Portugal. Its origins date back to the pre-Roman period, and over the years it was occupied by several civilizations, including the Romans, Visigoths and Moors. Later, in the year 1148, it was reconquered by Christians during the reign of D. Afonso Henriques.
Only then would it have been possible what happened in 1210, when D. Dinis offered this pearl as a wedding gift to D. Isabel, starting the tradition of the town being included in the dowry of Portuguese queens. This fact earned it the title of "Village of Queens".

馃 Topkapi Palace / Topkap谋 Saray谋 by bilginsemra@bilginsemra

Hello everyone, As I mentioned before, we are visiting Istanbul with my husband. One of the places we visited is Topkap谋 Palace. Today I will share Topkap谋 Palace. Since it is so big, I will explain it in two posts. Because it won't be enough to explain it in one go. Even while traveling, we realized that we needed to spare half a day. We stayed inside for more than two hours. There were parts we couldn't see because we didn't have time. When I go again, I will share with you the places I could not see.
