Have a great day!
Le Mont-Dore is a small town located in the Auvergne Rhône Alps region of France. It's situated approximately in the center of the country, about a four hour and 30 minute drive from Paris and two hours and 30 minutes from the city of Lyon. The region is mountainous, consisting of a series of inactive volcanoes that are located around the small town just a short drive away. They make for some excellent hiking in the warmer months of the year and downhill skiing in the colder ones.

The biggest attraction on Rhodes is probably the medieval old town of Rhodes Town. Since we really wanted to see it, we were happy to take the 2-hour bus ride. Who doesn't dream of winding streets, historic buildings and the smell of Greek cuisine? For me, this dream came true in the old town of Rhodes. When I first entered the high walls of the city, I felt like I had been transported to another time. The old town of Rhodes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988, is a true gem. Traces of centuries of history can be found everywhere.

A beautiful day, the same day of my previous post where we decided to climb the unclaimed portion of the Shallin Peak that I have named the place Somewhere at the top of the Ridge of Mahili Thach. Sucessfull we made it a single attempt hiking the summit of Shallin Peak, An ancient isolated village of remote Himalayas. I got to know about the place as the peak was right visible from my house where I lived. It was that there would be something, something different. That was the feeling that I always had. Only very few people usually visit the place of maybe not even a single one as due to the place mostly being covered with the thick presence of clouds which makes it really very difficult to hike of descent back to the right direction.
