Yesterday on the 01.05 I finally managed to go out a bit to take some pictures. As we are currently under a pretty strict lockdown here in Thailand, it's not that easy to find spots where you can legally (kind of) move around and be creative.
Through the help of a friend I was able to find a pretty amazing spot on the coast of Bang Saen. It's actually still forbidden until Sunday to go on public beaches but this spot was more on an private ground and I had to sneak in through an abandon looking apartment to get there.
It was pretty amazing as I've never heard or seen anything about this spot. It was really perfect to practice some more long-time exposure photography and I'm extremely happy with the results.

For the first time ever (with a small exception in Oman which did not really play out) I've used my 10 Stop ND filter which worked really well for long_exposure shots with natural day light. The time when I was shooting was around 5 PM so I had some beautiful golden light to work with.
On the last picture you can see the edge of an small "bridge" which was already pretty rusty and not in the best condition anymore. Of course I had to get up there to take some more pictures :))

It was perfect being at this spot during the sunset to get different shots of the bridge with different light settings. Also the rusty look and the little box in front gave the picture some extra flair.

Using my 24-70mm 2.8 Tamron lens worked pretty well for these pictures. Maybe a wide angle lens would have been even better but I unfortunately don't own one yet. Maybe I'll consider it to be my next investment for my photography gear. Let me know if you have any suggestions ;)

As I'm totally new to long_time exposure photography I'm really happy with the results from that day. I can't deny that I extremity enjoyed the shooting on this beautiful abandond beach.
