In the rural lifestyle there is one habit and culture that is drinking "Jamu". Jamu meaning a traditional herbal drink. Made from variously herb from local wisdom. But, most familiar are : Jamu Kunir Asem (turmenic sour), Jamu beras kencur (saffron-colored rice) and Jamu Paitan (maybe made from many herb like bratawali, long pepper, etc)
We are, the Villager usually drinking the herbal drink also known as Jamu in the morning. We can made it self using herbal plantation around home, or just we can buy it from 'Mbok Jamu". A woman who sell herbal drink door to door everyday. The price of herbal drink in our place is very cheap compared to the expensive of healthy live. Just only pay one thousand until two thousand depending little or big cup of herbal drink we want, we can enjoy a taste and sweetness and freshness of Jamu.
Drinking Jamu is popular and famous simply activity of Indonesian People to keep our body and live more healthy
