Splinterlands is an electrifying battlefield, very competitive I must say. Didn’t expect such a level of competition. But it’s great to know we probably have one of the best web3 gaming platform.
But interestly it’s still our newest member Frontier that’s making huge waves in the Splinterlands game mode alongside the Modern, Wild and Survival. I am actually glued to the Frontier Mode because of its free mode and the user experience that comes with it. New users have the luxury of hitting the battle field without any investment unlike first that cards must be bought or rented to hit the battle field. It actually rewarding for anyone willing to dedicate time to learn and master it.
How to Participate in Frontier Mode.
For anyone new to Splinterlands, Foundation cards are needed to be able to play in Frontier mode. Luckly, there is a Campaign mode on Splinterlands that give everyone the chance to complete simple tasks and upon completion of every stage comes free Foundation Cards that could be used in the Frontier Format. These cards are soul-bond, and very useful. So, after getting onto Splinterland, quickly rush to the Campaign section and get on with the tasks. You don’t only get free cards but the Campaign mode is designed to help in training a newbie or even enhancing the skills of already Mastered gurus, and even accumulating more cards. This mode is literally for everyone’s benefits.
Hence the Campaign mode helps everyone especially newbies build up confidence in their practiced strategies from the couple of undergone training. That helps in handling different rulesets and lineups. And how to make good use of any Cards earned from the Campaign or bought with Credits and DECs.
Earning cards in Campaign Mode
- After heading to the Campaign Page, choose the mode chapter available.
- Follow the story missions and look at the Mana Cap and Ruleset to guide the choice of cards for the battle.
- Each victory in each stage unlocks a new foundation card(s) as a reward.
- The more tasks completion the stronger the card pool becomes and the stronger the army on the battlefield.
All these are achievable through patience and consistency. There could be a strong collection of Foundation Cards to give an upper hand on Frontier, even without having to buy or rent anything for now until the experience is enough to hit the main stage. The Foundation cards can even be used in other Game Format as well.
Some Achievable Frontier Mode Rewards
After the completion of the Campaign Mode comes the show down. Foundations cards earned from the Campaign – Book 1 can be utilized in the Frontier mode. Trust me, these cards are good enough to get a win that will even earn freebies on Splinterlands Frontier Mode.
All that is needed is to apply the skills and knowledge acquired from the Campaign Mode. Strategically positioning monster cards could bring the desired result. So far so good, it has not been bad at my end at all. Though the Frontier Mode is super competitive, there was a way through to up-grade.
Luckily, there was an up-grade to Bronze II. Though it’s not much to brag about yet it was not easy at all. Could it be that I didn’t learn anything from the Campaign mode? I don’t think so, rather I think there are lots of Strategic players in here!!!! Super amazing players that brings the heat with counter upon counter attacks. It was fun I must say. I loved the competition that comes with it, that made the success story worth sharing cause it wasn’t gotten on a silver platter.
Alongside the upgrade comes some cool rewards that anyone could also grab to enhance their pool collection. Here are some lists of monsters that could be gained on Frontier which of course no upgrade is needed to earn them. Only need to complete the daily tasks of 5 wins which has a limit of three (3).
- Vicious Quillium; a monster attacker that could disrupt enemy
- Hungry Ulund; tanky monster with powerhouse
- Water-Logged Wizard; a monster with that deals magic with a sure precision.
- Three entries into the draw
These rewards coming in one after the other is a good sign of better seasons ahead.
Why everyone should join Frontier Mode
It is the fastest way to grow as a web3 gamer on Splinterlands. Facing of with diverse teams will enhance the game knowledge because it will help in seeing all kinds of strategies. Just this could be an amazing loot from even the least climb. Hence just get onboard, Campaign Mode, Earn Cards, use them in Frontier, Win Rewards, strengthen dec and then repeat the process. As simple as that. Then we move to the Modern, Wild and Survival!!!!!!!
Whether be it a casual player or top player on leagues, I encourage Frontier Mode for a try. It can be paired with the rest of the Formats. It could be a season of testing to owning high performing cards.
