Happy New Year's everyone! I think most of my readers know that I've been a coin collector all my life, thanks to my parents. They always taught me to look for silver coins in change and not to spend them. After I retired in 2013, I started collecting again and I do coin roll hunting and serial number hunting on paper money. One of my favorite denomination of bills to search is the $2.00 bill. I go to the bank and order $2000 in bills and look through them for special serial numbers or errors. If you look at my photo, you see all the double numbers in the serial number, but the reason I liked it was because the numbers looked like a year, 1954. I understand it's a stretch, but some serial numbers bring big bucks. After I go through all the bills I use them for tip money, people love getting $2 bills and usually keep them for their kids. I sold a bill with the serial number A00002006E for $50 on eBay, only in America! 🇺🇲
