_{As those that regularly check out my posts know, I lost most of my process pictures when loosing my phone containing them ALWAYS BACKUP PEOPLE So I have been uploading a lot of single picture drawing posts. As I don understand that this makes the post less entertaining to see/read I've decided to include short (sometimes fictional) stories to single photo posts.}

Last moments

Lucious sat outside with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other. The sun had gone down hours ago, the moon however was keeping a close eye on Lucious and judging him for all that he had done. Blood still dripped from his shaking hands while he took another sip. Usually the cold beer pouring trough his throat felt refreshing and well deserved, but not today. No today it felt like he was drinking liquid knifes stabbing him all the way down.

He was still trying to grasp all the events that occurred... it was not supposed to go like this, she said it wouldn't... She said it would all be alright. Rain started pouring from the moonlit sky, but Lucious staid outside... He did not want to go back in there, he had seen enough. Even when it started to rain harder he was reluctant to go back in, only when the lightning and thunder started Lucious sighed grabbed his gun and went back inside.

The rain... that was you wasn't it, to get me back inside!?

he asked the dark figure.

The dark figure replied in a cold but somehow soothing voice

Lucious, you know I do not control the weather, but now that you are back. We are not done yet.

Yeah yeah... just give me a minute okay... Why can't you do this? Why you need me?

Because this is not part of my job Lucious, I am not allowed to

was her answer

IT'S NOT PART OF MY JOB EITHER OKAY! I AM A POLICE OFFICER FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! I AM SUPPOSED TO PROTECT THE PEOPLE!

Lucious shouted while grabbing his badge from the floor.

All Lucious got back was a short and soft

as the dark figure walked trough the doorway onto the next room. Lucious followed with a sigh and a dangling head, carefully stepping over the pools of blood. Thinking how lucky she was for not letting any prints behind.

They walked down a stairwell where she somehow effortlessly opened a vault door that usually takes 2 or 3 people to open.

There he was... sitting chained to a chair. Lucious sighed in relief they finally found him. As he removed the gag from the man's mouth the man started crying

Are you the cops!? Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! They said they were going to kill me! Thank you

Lucious looked at the dark figure, she nodded and looked the man in the eyes and with a kind smile she said

Don't worry my dear, they won't bother you no more, we got you now

She looked up, and stared at Lucious with a face that was asking him what he was waiting for...
Lucious hessitated, he knew going against her was futile but he still hesitated. Her face tightened.

A loud BANG filled the vault, for a couple of seconds Lucious couldn't hear anything until he heard the soft thud of the man's body falling on the floor.
Lucious fell to his knees and dropped the gun on the floor. While the last bits of smoke left the gun he looked at her and asked.

They were about to kill him anyway... why did it have to be me...?

She just looked at him in silence.

WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE ME!?

She kneeled down so she could look him in the eyes. Softly grabbing him by his shoulds.

It had to be you Lucious, He is the one that killed your Melissa . You had to redeem yourself Lucious, after what you did. This was how.

Lucious sat there and sobbed while the dark figure walked out of the vault and started to close the door

I'm sorry Lucious, your path is done now. Soon I will be back for you to reunite you with your Melissa. I am but mere death, guiding the dying trough their last moments of life and transitioning the dead to their next life.

The door shut, the fault went dark almost silent just a barely hearable whisper "I'm coming Melissa" followed by on last bang and a final thud

Night of a thousand drawings

Once Every year there is an event called "Night of a 1000 drawings" where I participate.

The concept is easy draw/create anything you want as long as it's A5 size. Hand them in before the deadline.
During the event it self all the creations will be sold for about $6,- each and the proceedings then go to a charity (a new one is usually chosen every year)

Every year I hand in between 10 to 30 A5 drawings.
I would love to share them with you, I shared a couple before here and here and I would like to share another
