There was a typhoon the day before but yesterday was so hot and humid. It’s as if the typhoon didn’t happen. Anyways, my Saturday was focused at Ikebukuro.
I went to meet my friends at a nice cafe located at Higashi Ikebukuro, around the otaku street. I was surprised the cafe was bigger than I expected it to be. So many seats too. The only thing that I didn’t like was that there was a time limit indicated on my order. We’re only allowed 1.4 hours stay at the cafe. It seems it’s only like this during the weekends, as they expect a crowd. It was a nice cafe to study and work but because of the time limit, this one’s off my list.
We couldn’t even finish a section because of the time limit. It was not the best study group session yesterday.
Afterwards, we roamed a bit around Ikebukuro looking for a place for our next session. This part of Ikebukuro is really crowded so I think this place isn’t the best for our sessions.
We even went up to Sunshine Cinema looking for a cafe. Nope, we’re not here for the movies. I don’t even know what movies these people were going to watch. So many people lining up for the snacks.
Then we got hungry at 4+ pm and found ourselves at TGI Fridays because it’s the one nearest where we at at that time. I got myself their delicious Chicken Fingers, and it came with potato fries. Yum! My friends got the Chicken Mexi Bowl, and Chicken and Shrimp Pasta.
It’s been a while since I had these sweet treat from the restaurant so I indulged myself with these brownies. I really loved brownies with vanilla ice cream on top. It was nostalgic so I ordered some.
After the early dinner, of course, it’s time to play. We usually go to this entertainment hub to play darts but yesterday we wanted some alcohol and a change of environment. The nearest we could find was Darts Dining Bee.
The entrance to the bar was so flashy. It’s like we were about to be transported somewhere into a hidden paradise in a jungle.
Inside was a typical bar setting but it was so spacious! They have karaoke rooms on one area, table tennis and billiards on another and darts corner on the other. We came for darts so we were seated in the darts section.
We ordered an oolong shochu drink in this container. It was 2 liters for us 3, 
We went inside amusement centers around the area after hours of playing darts and drinking alcohol. Still, not drunk. Some of us played games. There’s this cute mascot waiting for me to take a photo with it so here I was. I hope you can figure out which was the mascot. 😅 I chose this one because lately I’m so attracted to this color! So cute!
And OMG! I saw my faves! I need to win them in a crane game though and I’ve never won ever! So I’ll just have to admire them for afar. Conan is so cool in this pose! Akai Shuichi and Kaitou Kid were also so cool! As someone who loves Meitantei Conan, these are heaven to me! 😅
Luffy in Gear 5 were such an eye candy! If I’m a collector, I think I’d do the crane game right away but I’m not so I’d just admire from afar. These were just so awesome!
And wow, they even have this phone container with Luffy on top of it! It’s nice because it’s not just a decor but it can also be of use.
Zoro looks so cool here! Shanks too! Shanks was giving off the daddy vibes here! Aaarrrghhh! They were also my favorite characters in One Piece.
Then there’s Holo from Spice and Wolf. I’m sure the men would love her! She’s not just adorable, she’s also wise and playful.
I ended up getting gacha of Oshi No Ko. There were 4 designs but I got the same thing 2x! LOL What luck!
Our night ended there. It was fun but also tiring. I just hope we could find another cafe to study next time.
