I am continuing working on my new railway setup. But to be honest, I already fear that it is going to need too simple, from a track perspective...
So i continued preparing the underlying layer for the while city area and the tracks. The few tracks have been placed and connected pretty fast.
Compared with the ~25meters of tracks from the last project, this was easy.
Even the electronic parts are reduced to a couple of components. Whic is okay because this was a real hassle last time. It was about 200m of wires. Glad I can skip this part this time.
Although, I plan to have much more lighting (street lamps etc) which also requires a ton of wires.
Lastly I was able to rudimentary connect a minimum version of the required components an run the first circles with my test locomotive. Brave little ÖBB 2043!
Next goal is to connect and under floor switches which I still have no solution for since the additional layer of styro foam does not allow to set it up the "usual" way.
A bit of a challenge for the next weekend...
See you next time :)
