You might look at this picture and think that it is some work of AI, but trust me, it's real; it was just edited dramatically with a HDR (High Dynamic Range) technique.
I didn't use just one photo to edit this picture, I used three different shots of the same scenery, one over-exposed, one under-exposed and one normal. After that, I merged all three photos together with a special software.
This way I can see all of the details in the dark parts of the photo as well as the bright parts, making the final image perfect in its exposure.
Then I added some special effects and edited it more to make the picture look like this,
an exaggerated HDR.
Some photographers try to make the look of HDRs subtle, but I like to take it to the next level and make the colors really pop out of the screen. I love doing this to pictures that are shot in a certain way.
This particular photo was taken in outskirts of Belgrade, Serbia. You might be wondering how I managed to get this shot. Well, my friend and I were walking home, and we stumbled upon this railway, in the middle of a residential area, that was used by intercity trains. I believe that almost every photography lover has some degree of affection towards railway tracks, and a bunch of photos of them in their collection. Take a look at this great city here in Serbia, it has some interesting contrasts that can provide you with great photos for street or travel photography.
