Play is a fun activity carried out by children who are colored by the development of imagination to create certain chronicles of stories, stories or thought lines according to their age. Any play activities are generally accompanied by the ability of imagination which aims to develop intellectual, emotional, psychomotor and potential social skills. This child's imagination develops along with the development of speaking ability. Imagination is born from a human mental process.
This process encourages all emotional forces to be involved and play an active role in stimulating creative thoughts and ideas, as well as energizing creative action. And a means for children to learn to understand the reality of their existence as well as their environment. The level of imagination used for the game is in accordance with the stage of development, for example infants, under-three children, under-five children, middle children, and teenagers.
Each age has different characteristics of imagination development. Children's imaginative abilities are part of right brain activity that is beneficial for their intelligence. In infants aged 0-4 months, play activities are still influenced by reflex movements, infants aged 5-7 months, play activities have started to use their own organs that are autocosmic, infants aged 6-8 months play activities lead to primary and secondary reaction abilities , babies or children for 10-18 months of playing activities begin to utilize the imagination because the child already has an object dimension.
Furthermore, children aged 1-5 years tend to have a well-developed imagination, so that the ability to play more complex and creative. While in school-age children, children's imagination is at its strongest intensity with the most memory material.
