What a weird looking bottle! I always try to find single varietals besides sangiovese from Italy to try, just to compare. But it seems there are not a whole lot to choose from here in the states, or I should say my local wine store. Don't get me wrong, I love the wines from Chianti, and Monticilino, I just fell I can learn more if I had a grape I am more familiar with. Hopefully you will get to try in a year and see how those tannins mellowed out, CHEERS!
