A baby in a world of its own have different characteristics and variations as the grow, most of which are funny馃槀 and weird,in a good kind of way馃憣
Most of the time, you have to do things their way. Moreover, they need constant attention and love
Taking my 3 months old baby sister as a case study. Her name is Favour Willie.
Favour at her age is quite strong馃挭 and agile. She tries to control her from falling at will. It's just so amazing the strength she possess.
She has quite large and beautiful eyes and anytime she's scared or taken by surprise, she tends to bring it all out. 馃憖馃憖
Did you know that a baby at the first 2 weeks after delivery doesn't see clearly even though they may look as if they do.
How did I know? I waved 馃憢 my hands close to her face and she didn't blink.
But now she blinks just at the clap of the hand, even if it's not close to her face 馃槂.
Variations in Physical Appearance
As at the time of delivery, the first week, she was darker, no brows 馃榾...yha, scanty hair growth, eyes were, closed, due to light but at night, they're wide open...lol. She was just the copy of my mom, like a "mini-her'.
With time she became fairer, brows grew, guess somethings develop after birth. She didn't look like my mom again, she tends to resemble one of her siblings.
Feeding:-
I don't know if its programmed in them 馃榿,cause the first thing she knew how to do apart from crying 馃槀 was to suck her fingers...lol,as if its needed for survival.!
As time went by,the breast milk was no more satisfying,so we opted for "infant formula" (baby food). She loved it at first, but suddenly refused later. It's strange right, cause she actually did yearn for it before.
Sleeping:-
When Favour was just a week old,she could sleep for a long period of time during the day,but stay awake at night.
Now she just takes a nap of 3 mins馃槀馃憣 and she's up.
When she's sleepy,she cries,when she's hungry,she cries,diaper is wet,she cries...lol.
I feel her crying is the only way she can communicate her discomfort. So it's now left for you to decided which is the issue at the moment. Trust me it's a great task
Did I tell you that she smiles馃槉 in her sleep? Yha she does that and its cute. I'm like she's having a nice dream...馃榿馃榾馃槏
It's like the variations change weekly, and its just so unexpected.
At a time she could just be in bed and be all playful, at another time, she wants to be carried everywhere. I've actually carried her to brush馃槀馃槀,she didn't want to be left alone馃槥.
Weird Sense of Humour:-
Just like I said babies vary in their characters. My sister for example, the wall looks funny to her, she could just stare at a plain wall and starts laughing馃槀馃樄.
Mostly, she loves light,it such a beautiful thing that she can fix her gaze on it for a long time.
At some point she's all playful and the next second she's crying, makes you wonder what you did wrong...lol
These are just the few things have noticed in her 3 months of being on earth
Guess the change will keep fluctuating until she's all grown.
