In my last post I talked about Covid-19: How to spice up your marriage and I get some tips on how this can be achieved. In a bid to refresh your memory I stated that partners should indulge in fun activities together such as playing games, sharing a bottle of wine, reading books and also sex. I also did mentioned the need for couples to take time to stay apart and give each other space to engage in activities that make them happy such as seeing their favorite series on Netflix and YouTube, FIFA20, sleeping etc. This short period of staying apart (probably in separate rooms) make the partners long for each other and tend to avert all form of boredom when they come together again.

In this post I shall discuss about Covid-19 and long distance relationships as most couples, partners, lovers have been separated by this virus. If you are in this category, the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic might seem like something that may never end to you due to loneliness and the fact that you can not get to see your lover when you want to. Here are some ways you can cope during the Coronavirus pandemic without your lover by your side.

If perchance your lover is another country or resides in a far away city take it as a point of responsibility not to travel. It has been announced by government that borders should be shut pending the time the curve of the Coronavirus will flatten. Do well to adhere to these orders and remember that your health and that of others are at stake. Stay home and refuse the temptation to embark on a trip to see your lover even if the trip is just few hours.

In order to put an end to this deadly novel Coronavirus pandemic we need to practice social distancing. The thought of being separated from one's partner may be disheartening and depressing at the same time. It's a definite truth that the Covid-19 will end at a point in time - it's not going to last forever, hence, we need to play our part by practicing social distancing. Don't go to crowded places such as bars, night clubs, shows just because you miss your spouse. Respect the call of social distancing as announced by the World Health Organization.

You don't have to go through the scourge of the Coronavirus alone just because you are separated by distance. There are a couple of activities you can both do online to make you feel you are both around each other. Try as much as possible to communicate daily and as frequently as you can via voice and video calls. Watch the same movies together and discuss about it as you watch, read the same books of your choice, start planning how your next visit will look like after the pandemic and lots more.

Being in a long distance relationship during this Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic could be scary but always remember it is not a permanent phenomenon.
Stay safe always.
