Bitcoin may continue its run for awhile without the alt coins but ultimately this move is at least a positive for the entire market and could possibly be the start of the next bull phase. Keep in mind that bear markets are faster and steeper than the bull counterpart. The average bear market in stocks last about 365 days. Considering the pace of crypto 6 months is plenty of time for a bear market to run its course. Another point to keep in mind is how the alt coins behaved last fall. XRP and Litecoin didn’t move at all for quite sometime after BTC started up. Then in a matter of hours they went up and kept going up for weeks. Not making a definitive prediction here but BTC hit its long term trend line last week so don’t let your guard down!
