Sindoni Tower [ENG/ESP]

For a long time I have had the intention to review this building called the Sindoni tower, which stands as a watchman of the city of Maracay, capital of the state of Aragua - Venezuela, and it is not for less, from any point in the center of the city you can see this imposing architectural work, which colloquially people refer to as the Sindoni pasta tower, because it is part of the Sindoni group, which in turn has a food company, among the best known for its Sindoni pasta.

This building began to be built in 1993 and was completed until the day of its inauguration on the eve of the new millennium, on November 25, 1999. And it has a total of about 50 thousand meters of construction, with a total of 32 floors and more than 125 meters of heights, on a land of more than 4 thousand meters. On the other hand, the architect who designed this tower was the architect Dalmir Ruíz, as well as working together with the engineer Franco Porcarelli, who was in charge of the structural calculations of this modern style building.

Desde hace mucho tiempo he tenido la intención de reseñar sobre esta edificación llamada la torre Sindoni, que se levanta como un vigilante de la ciudad de Maracay, capital del estado Aragua - Venezuela, y no es para menos, desde cualquier punto del centro de la ciudad se puede visualizar esta imponente obra arquitectónica, que coloquialmente la gente se refiere como la torre de la pasta Sindoni, porque forma parte del grupo Sindoni, que a su vez tiene una empresa de alimentos, entre la mejor conocida por su pastas Sindoni.

Este edificio se comenzó a construir en 1993 y se finalizó hasta el día de su inauguración a vísperas del nuevo milenio, un 25 de noviembre de 1999. Y cuenta con un total de unos 50 mil metros de construcción, con un total de 32 pisos y más de 125 metros de alturas, sobre un terreno de más de 4 mil metros. Por otro lado, el arquitecto que diseño está torre fue el arquitecto Dalmir Ruíz, asimismo como trabajó conjuntamente con el ingeniero Franco Porcarelli, quien se encargó de los cálculos estructurales de esta edificación de estilo moderno.

As can be seen in the photographs, the Sindoni tower was built with structural bases of reinforced concrete, bricks, as can be seen almost all of its roof and also with glass, which makes it have a modern characteristic.

It is recognized as the tallest tower in the city of Maracay, and one of the most important architectural works of Venezuela, in addition to having an excellent location in the center of the city, near the passenger terminal, Bolivar Avenue and Bolivar Square of Maracay.

Como se puede visualizar en las fotografías, la torre Sindoni, se construyó con bases estructurales de materiales entre concreto armado, ladrillos; tal como se puede ver casi toda su cubierta y también con cristales, que le hace tener una característica moderna.

Se le reconoce como la torre más alta de la ciudad de Maracay, y unas de las obras arquitectónicas más importantes de Venezuela, además de contar con una excelente ubicación en el centro de la ciudad, cercano al terminal de pasajero, la avenida Bolívar y la plaza Bolívar de Maracay.

Undoubtedly, it is a very striking building, as soon as you arrive in the city of Maracay, you can begin to witness the tower, with its recognized design, which highlights the mixture of brick and glass, as well as the triangular design of the top of the tower.

Also if we see the tower from its side, you can see its stepped design, creating a staircase-like appearance between its floors, which are comprising the windows and brick surfaces throughout the building, thus creating a better harmony in its design, which stands out among other works in the city, becoming even a landmark for anyone who does not know the city.

Sin duda, es una edificación muy llamativo, apenas cuando se llega a la ciudad de Maracay, se puede comenzar a presenciar dicha torre, con su reconocido diseño, donde resaltan la mezcla de los ladrillo y los cristales, así como el diseño triangular de lo más alto de la torre.

Además si vemos la torre desde su lateral, se puede ver su diseño escalonado, creando como un aspecto de escalera entre su pisos, que van comprendiendo las ventanas y las superficies de ladrillos por toda la edificación, creando así una mejor armonía en su diseño, que resalta entre otras obras de la ciudad, convirtiéndose incluso en un punto de referencia para cualquier persona que no conozca la ciudad.

Speaking among my tastes of architectural design in my country, with respect to the modern style, the Sindoni tower is among the favorites, perhaps because I have always been struck by the contrast between the bricks and glass, in addition to its peculiar triangular design at the top of the building.

It is more than two decades since this building was built, and from what can be seen it is perfectly preserved, and with a rigidity that makes it a work with good solid construction foundations, exemplifying the best way regarding the design and engineering of construction, as well as the importance of the good use of good construction materials.

Hablando entre mis gustos de los diseño arquitectónicos de mí país, con respecto al estilo moderno, la torre Sindoni entre entre los favoritos, quizás porque siempre me ha llamado la atención ese contraste entre los ladrillos y cristales, además de su peculiar diseño triangular en lo alto del edificio.

Son más de dos décadas desde que este edificio se construyó, y por lo que se puede ver se conserva perfectamente, y con una rigidez que lo hace ser una obra con buenas bases sólidas de construcción, ejemplicando la mejor manera con respecto al diseño e ingeniería de la construcción, así como la importancia del buen uso de buenos materiales de construcción.
