Always when one travels through the city where one lives, usually you end up knowing new places and therefore buildings that you have never seen, and it is so in my case, with 15 years living in the city of Valencia, and although I walk a lot, I have not finished knowing new places and appreciate structures that are hidden among other buildings that do not allow visibility.
On this occasion, one afternoon walking, I came across this building that functions as a luxury hotel in the area, which had heard of its name but had never visited it, and the truth is that it has a very peculiar and characteristic design in its shape, which caught my attention, and although I did not carry my camera, it was enough to take pictures with my cell phone.
Siempre cuando uno recorre la ciudad donde uno vive, por lo general terminas conociendo nuevos lugares y por lo tanto edificaciones que nunca haz visto, y es así en mí caso, ya con 15 años viviendo en la ciudad de Valencia, y a pesar de que camino mucho, no he terminado de conocer nuevos sitios y apreciar estructuras que se esconde entre otras edificaciones que no permite su visibilidad.
En esta ocasión, una tarde de caminata, me encontre con este edificio que funciona como un hotel de lujo de la zona, la cual había escuchado de su nombre pero nunca lo había visitado, y la verdad que tiene un diseño muy peculiar y característico en su forma, la cual captó mi atención, y aunque no cargaba mí cámara fotográfica, bastó con tomarles fotografías con mi celular desde diferentes ángulos.
Initially this hotel was known as the Embassy Suites Valencia hotel, but later it was renamed as Executive Suites Valencia, as we can see in the photographs, and opened in 2010, under the design of architect Jack Dornbush, who had also done other architectural work related to the Embassy Suites hotel chain in the city of Caracas, capital of Venezuela. Having certain similar characteristics in their designs between the hotels in the cities of Valencia and Caracas.
This hotel was built on a 5800 m2 lot, in this area was erected this 13-story tower, which has 203 rooms, as part of the hotel services, 9 conference rooms, as well as some commercial premises of the hotel itself. Besides having a gym, jacuzzi, restaurants and other services related to the establishment. Its location can be found on the corner of Andres Eloy Blanco and Monsignor Adams Avenues, in an exclusive area with lots of nightlife in the urbanization of El Viñedo Valencia, Carabobo-Venezuela state.
Inicialmente este hotel se conocía como el hotel Embassy Suites Valencia, pero luego paso ser llamado como Executive Suites Valencia, como actualmente podemos ver en las fotografías, y tuvo su apertura en el año 2010, bajo el diseño del arquitecto Jack Dornbush, quien también había realizado otros trabajos arquitectónicos relacionados con la cadena hotelera Embassy Suites en la ciudad de Caracas, capital de Venezuela. Teniendo ciertas características parecidas en sus diseños entre los hoteles en la ciudas de Valencia y Caracas.
Dicho hotel se construyo sobre un terreno de 5800 m2, en dicha superficie se levantó esta torre de 13 pisos, que cuenta con 203 habitaciones, como parte de los servicios de hoteleria, 9 salones de conferencias, como también algunos locales comerciales del mismo hotel. Aparte de contar con un espacio de gimnasio, jacuzzi, restaurantes y entre otros servicios afines al establecimiento. Su ubicación, se puede encontrar en toda la esquina que intercepta las avenidas Andrés Eloy Blanco y Monseñor Adams, dentro de una zona exclusiva con mucha vida nocturna en la urbanización El Viñedo Valencia, estado Carabobo-Venezuela.
As far as can be seen, it was built with iron structural bases, concrete and completely covered with bricks, and with a particular design that if it could be seen from above, you would be able to see the triangular shape of the hotel, as well as see from the facade of the building an aspect as if it were the shape of a boat, and in a way the sides of the building has a slight inclination, as part of its design.
Undoubtedly, it is a design that captures my attention, apart from how well preserved it is despite having already 11 years of having been built, also what can be deduced from the good foundations and planning at the time of lifting the work, makes an architectural work like this have a good support for many years or decades.
Por lo que se puede apreciar, fue construido con bases estructurales de hierro, concreto y cubierto completamente de ladrillos, y con un diseño particular que si se pudiera ver desde arriba, se lograría ver forma triangular del hotel, también como ver desde la fachada de la edificación un aspecto como si se tratará de la forma de un barco, y de cierta manera los laterales del edificio tiene una ligera inclinación, como parte de su diseño.
Sin duda, es un diseño que capta mi atención, aparte de lo bien conservado que se encuentra a pesar de tener ya 11 años de haber sido construida, también lo que se puede deducir, de los buenos cimientos y planificación a la hora de levantar la obra, hace que un trabajo arquitectónico como este tenga un buen soporte por muchos años o décadas.
I want to point out that I am not an architect and much less a student of architecture, so my technical knowledge on this subject is almost nil, but I have always had an interest in structures and buildings, so I have also mixed it with my taste for photography, so I always seek to capture that image or interesting photograph of architectural works, although in the future who knows if I might be interested in studying architecture as part of my formal studies.

Quiero acotar que no soy arquitecto y mucho menos estudiante de arquitectura, por lo que mis conocimientos técnicos sobre esta materia son casi nulo, pero desde siempre he tenido interés por las estructuras y edificaciones, por lo que también lo he mezclado por mí gusto hacia la fotografía, de tal manera que siempre busco captar esa imagen o fotografía interesante sobre trabajos arquitectónicos, aunque de igual forma más adelante quien sabe si me interese estudiar arquitectura, como parte de mis estudios formales.
