This afternoon while my little cat Dio was resting on a chair overlooking the main window of the apartment, I took the opportunity to take some pictures, where the main focus of the composition was directed to capture that small illuminated part of the main objective, which is the cat.
Of course, because of the position of the cat, a backlight of the figure is generated, that way as you can see in a totally backlit photograph, where you can see Dio yawning, while the other photographs I mainly wanted to capture those partially illuminated parts over the cat's face.
It is a way of being able to compose with light, without having to be traditionally all illuminated, but looking to create other types of compositions where one can play with the lighting, which in this case is a natural light by the sun, at sunset time, where the rays of light can be more subtle and its position perpendicular to the window of my apartment, serves for the position of the cat, for the idea I had planned for these compositions.
On the other hand, also in these compositions I wanted to highlight the contrast between the main figure and the background in the background, which is composed mostly by the sky, where I varied it between color and achromatic photographs.
All the photographs are of my authorship and were taken with a Canon T3i camera.

Esta tarde mientras mí pequeño gato Dio descansaba sobre una silla con vista hacia la ventana principal del apartamento, aproveché el momento de hacer algunas fotografías, donde el principal enfoque de la composición fue dirigido en captar esa pequeña parte iluminada sobre el principal objetivo, que es el gato.
Por supuesto, por la posición del gato, se genera un contraluz de la figura, de esa forma como se puede ver en una fotografía totalmente en contraluz, donde se ve a Dio bostezando, mientras que las demás fotografías principalmente quise captar esas partes parcialmente iluminadas sobre el rostro del gato.
Es una forma de poder componer con la luz, sin tener que ser tradicionalmente todo iluminado, sino buscar crear otros tipos de composiciones donde uno puede jugar con la iluminación, que es este caso es una luz natural por el sol, en horario en pleno ocaso, donde los rayos de luz pueden ser más sutiles y por su posición perpendicular hacia la ventana de mí apartamento, sirve por la posición del gato, para la idea que tenía planeado para estas composiciones.
Por otro parte, también en dichas composiciones quise resaltar el contraste entre la figura principal y el fondo en segundo plano, que esta compuesto mayormente por el cielo, donde lo varíe entre fotografías a color y en acromático.
